Strong women, supported families, and safe homes since Umbrella has been fpr the voices of women, families, and survivors of interpersonal violence in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont since Our programs seek to enhance the lives of everyone in our community by promoting Sainh, respect, and development and education throughout the lifespan. From improving access to quality early child care and education to providing advocacy, emergency shelter, crisis services, and community education to those affected by domestic and sexual violence and stalking, Umbrella works to empower NEK residents to live safe and self-directed lives.
All services are confidential foor most are free or offered on a sliding fee scale. Services include safety planning, emergency housing, and ongoing support and prevention.
We offer resources for child guardians, parents and child care programs. The Family Room offers supervised visitation and exchange services for parents seeking to establish or rebuild relationships with their children.
